Any use of the above without written consent of the Foundation is strictly prohibited.
The Rip Van Winkle Foundation is a nonprofit, private foundation, founded in 1946 in rural Columbia County, NY, by the physician who cared for Lou after his diagnosis of ALS. The Foundation’s grants program focuses on promoting innovative ideas that seek to improve health care and its delivery to the American people, a concept Lou and Eleanor Gehrig strongly believed in.
